About Us

The primary interest of the lab is understanding how microenvironmental changes such as pH and metabolism impact melanocyte, keratinocyte, and T cell biology. One focus of the lab is the study of non-canonical cAMP signaling pathways in skin disease through which we have revealed new mechanisms that control organelle pH, tumor suppression, and T cell differentiation. We use a variety of cellular and mouse model systems and technologies such as microscopy, high-throughput sequencing techniques, and LC/MS.

Affiliations

Our lab works closely with groups within the Meyer Cancer Center; the Englander Institute of Precision Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine; and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
